Try Polishing His Teeth with Your Finger

Got a big dog with doggy breath?  For a larger dog with a larger mouth, you might consider using a finger cot, which just fits over your finger.  Put the toothpaste on your finger / finger cot and gently brush.  However, if you have larger fingers and a tiny dog, you might find a toothbrush is better for getting to your dog's back teeth. 

Start slowly.  Praise your dog and make it fun.  Make it a regular part of your routine that your dog can count on.  The bottom line is to make is an enjoyable experience for you and your dog.   And to get rid of that stinky bad dog breath!
