Bad breath is a smelly condition that is awful, its unpleasant and just plain rude both socially and in the workplace it’s a stopper.  If you breathe you can have bad breath. One of the easiest ways to rid bad breath is with mouthwashes. Although invisible, bad breath is one of those things that people are highly conscious about. Perhaps you feel you have tried just about everything to eliminate your bad breath. But probably one reason why you haven’t found a cure yet is because you haven’t really tackled the real cause of your bad breath.

The important part of treating bad breath is finding out what causes bad breath in the first place. The thing about bad breath is that it isn’t just caused by eating garlic or not brushing your teeth enough. There are many other factors that can cause bad breath. It can simply be caused by bacteria in your mouth, but can also be caused by certain habits and underlying health conditions.

Primary Causes Of Bad Breath

You might be surprised to know that your mouth contains various species of anaerobic bacteria. Not all bacteria in our mouth cause bad breath, but there are definitely some types that create waste products that cause the odor. These waste products are created after bacteria have digested protein. So if you consume a lot of meats and protein, you are more susceptible to developing bad breath.

When plaque builds up overtime, oxygen is depleted and an environment is created that is suitable for bacterial growth. This means that, the more plaque there is on your teeth and along your gum line the more you are susceptible to bad breath. Brush and floss regularly to prevent plaque and plan on having your teeth cleaned twice a year.  Educate yourself with Dr. Katz’s Bad Breath Bible. It’s Free……
