If you didn’t know mints and most mouthwashes available are short term bad breath solutions. First off, you’ve got to realize that that the major cause for your bad breath is bacteria in your mouth. These guys are supposed to be there, but sometimes they get out of hand.
Here are four things that you can do to help out on the bad breath front:
1) Brush your teeth at least twice daily
2) Floss your teeth at least twice daily
3) Use a tongue scraper daily (most of those bacteria are on your tongue, so this will get rid of a lot of them)
4) Keep your mouth moist by drinking water throughout the day
Short-term solutions are to rinse out your mouth after you eat and do a quick brushing of your teeth and tongue if it’s possible.
Remember most breath mints and mouthwash make your mouth worse. Find out why most mouthwashes don’t work. Mouthwash is big business…you’ve been lied to!
