The Fine Art of Brushing Dog Breath Away

by Beth

Dog Toothpaste Isn’t Your Toothpaste

One of the best ways to keep your dog healthy and keep dog breath away is to brush his teeth.  When brushing your dog’s teeth be sure to use a doggie tooth brush, not one of your left over ones.  Dog tooth brushes are designed both for the brusher and the dog. They should be soft and large enough for your dogs mouth.

When choosing dog toothpaste make sure it’s doggie flavored, easy to use and safe.  Most importantly make sure your dog likes it. My dog likes the beef flavored but there are many types available.  You also have a choice of gels or pastes. You may have to experiment a little which works best for you and your dog.
