Good Dog, Bad Breath - There Is a Remedy

Preventing Doggy Breath Is Important

Dogs are not called "Man's Best Friend" for nothing. They are loyal, obedient and protective of their owners and they love us a lot. In return, we take care of them, feed them and ensure that they are in the pink of health and love them right back. We provide them with different medications and vet visits to make sure that they are healthy. We need to be observant and attentive to our pets because it's hard to understand what they are feeling.

Good Dog Bad BreathThere are lots of good dogs, and doggy breath comes with every one of them. This doesn't mean that you can't do anything about it. You should ensure that your dog has good oral hygiene not just because the bad odor bothers you, but because good oral hygiene can extend your dog's life by about five years - that’s a good thirty five years in humans.

Here's a fact; eighty percent or more of dogs three years old and above have periodontal disease. This causes the weakening of the gums and bones in the mouth supporting the teeth. Bacteria flourish in mouths and these bacteria can spread to other internal organs of the dog, which in turn may lead to serious doggy diseases and conditions.

Just like Mike Peters' best selling book, Grimmy: Good Dog, Bad Breath, your pet may have certain undesirable traits, like bad breath, but that doesn't mean you can't do anything about it. Check with your vet, provide your dog the best health care you can, brush his teeth regularly, and you can establish a great relation with your dog, and a long lasting one too.

Cleaning Dog's Teeth Saves Marriage!

Cleaning Dogs Teeth Made Easy!

Ha! Ha!   Made you look.

If you want to see how someone cleans her dog's teeth, check out this video.  She only cleans the outside of the teeth, but you could do the inside, too, if you like.

We've got some really simple written instructions for you on brushing dog teeth, and an even longer video about cleaning dog teeth done by  the guys at MyPetGarden.com.

Here's some great stuff you can add to your dog's water bowl to help keep that killer breath away.  It's called Dog's Oral Solution.  It's great for their gums and teeth, too, as well as their doggy breath.

P.S.:  We don't leave anyone out!  It's good for cats, too.
